Matt's background began in real estate development, working on commercial developments around the Chicagoland area and across the United States. He's also been in on the ground floor of a number of startups which is where he derives his passion for helping like-minded teams grow their entrepreneurial efforts.
Working on property assemblages and development projects is a true love for Matt. Finding unique opportunities for sustainable and community-serving developments is something Matt often spends time on. It’s the overall effort and pursuit of the objective that keeps the fire burning for Matt on these types of projects.
Matt’s commercial real estate experience includes: land assemblages; acquisition; development projects; disposition of retail, industrial and mixed use properties; acquisition and sales of operating business portfolios with real estate.
Matt has a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He's able to utilize the educational concepts from this field of study and apply them to help his clients in their efforts within their local municipalities.
Marty Casey was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and has a finance degree from the University of Illinois. With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience in property ownership, management and property valuation, Marty offers his clients a unique specialization of the understanding of the components of value and the factors that can affect it.
Since 1997, Marty has been appraising commercial real estate and has received the two highest designations of the Appraisal Institute (MAI, AI-GRS). He is currently licensed in 10 states and offers a broad knowledge of the local market as well as a national perspective on value.
Marty saw the need for his advanced understanding of the valuation of real estate, FF&E and business value in the brokerage world. He works with clients as a business advisor and provides a deep understanding of the market, the trends and the multitude of factors that can influence it. Marty has the ability to perform feasibility studies that gives the client the ability to look into different opportunities with a single property and analyze what scenario will generate the greatest return for the client.
Marty specializes in providing the most up-to-date market-based information that enables his clients the ability to make sound business decisions.
Commercial real estate experience includes the following property types: Industrial, Commercial, Multi-Family, Vacant Land (All Types), Retail (Income Producing Properties) and Subdivision Development.
